Call for Special Sessions

Special Sessions — Call for Proposals

IEEE CYB Conf 2027 invites proposals for Special Sessions that complement the main conference program. Each session offers a focused forum where researchers and practitioners present and discuss work on a specific topic and build a community around it.

We seek innovative, focused sessions on emerging topics in cybernetics and its applications. Proposals related to smart humanoid robotics, the theme of this edition, are particularly encouraged, as are interdisciplinary topics that connect cybernetics with artificial intelligence, human-machine systems, robotics and complex systems.

Papers submitted to accepted Special Sessions follow the regular submission and review process, and accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings.

Special Sessions

Aims and Scope

Special Sessions aim to bring together international researchers, industry practitioners, and domain experts to present and discuss breakthroughs in specific, highly topical domains. Proposals covering novel theoretical models, cutting-edge applications, experimental benchmarks, and multidisciplinary paradigms within the scope of Cybernetics and humanoid robotics are warmly encouraged.

Emerging & Niche Topics

Focus on specialized or cutting-edge cybernetics domains that may not be fully represented in the regular tracks.

Community Building

Foster vibrant collaborations across academic institutions, research labs, and industrial partners worldwide.
