Towards Smart Humanoid Robotics

Cybernetics provides the theoretical and methodological foundations for understanding and designing intelligent systems through feedback, communication, and control. Humanoid robotics represents a compelling frontier in this field, bringing together perception, cognition, learning, and adaptive control to enable autonomous, robust, and safe interactions with humans and dynamic environments.

IEEE CYB Conf 2027 aims to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share recent advances, emerging challenges, and future research directions in cybernetics. Under the theme “Towards Smart Humanoid Robotics,” the conference particularly encourages contributions exploring how cybernetic principles, intelligent computational methods, and emerging technologies can advance the capabilities, autonomy, adaptability, and human-centered integration of humanoid robots.

We invite original, unpublished research papers presenting novel theoretical contributions, methodologies, technologies, and applications across the broad spectrum of cybernetics. While special emphasis is placed on smart humanoid robotics, contributions addressing all established and emerging areas of cybernetics are equally welcome.
